The Awake Foundation was founded in May 2026 by a small group of long-time animal activists who believe that compassion, science and ethics must guide every action we take for animals.

Our mission
To advance the welfare and rights of all sentient beings through humane rescue, ethical population management, advocacy against cruelty, and education that nurtures moral responsibility — especially in young people.
Our belief
Animal rights are inseparable from human rights. Compassion, justice and dignity must extend beyond species boundaries — animals are not commodities, but individuals deserving of freedom, protection and legal recognition.
